Women’s Introduction to Pistol Shooting

Class size will be limited to 7 registrants.

This is a women only class. The objective of this class is to provide the new or inexperienced shooter a fun and informative opportunity to learn about pistols and pistol shooting in a supervised and safe range environment.

No prior pistol or shooting experience is required. After a short classroom session; students will proceed to the range to shoot various handguns under direct supervision with an instructor.  Everything will be provided including firearms, ammunition, targets and safety gear.

Course topics include:

• 1 on 1 instructor training

• Gun safety rules

• proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols

• shooting fundamentals

• Marksmanship

• Shooting range safety and range etiquette

No Foid card is required; however, students must not be prohibited from owning or possessing firearms or firearm ammunition. For information about obtaining a FOID (Firearm Owners I.D.) follow this link www.ispfsb.com. Students owning firearms may bring and use them during the course.

  These are the terms to which you agree when training with Condition Yellow Academy: 1.) I understand that I do not need a FOID card to take this class; With that understanding, I attest that I am not a felon or otherwise prohibited from shooting or handling firearms. 2.) I understand that my spot is NOT held until I pay the class fee (which includes a $25 non-refundable deposit) and if I've selected to pay by check, we will hold the spot for 5 business days. You may reschedule your training to a different class or class date without charge (provided you notify us that you will not be able to attend PRIOR to the start of the registered class). I understand that if I cancel my training altogether, I will receive a refund less a $25 cancellation penalty.
