USCCA Defensive Shooting Fundamentals (Mini)

These courses qualify for the USCCA Protector Academy in-person training activity (Level I and II).  

Date:  T.B.A. (6:30 PM – 9:30 PM)    

Location: T.B.A.

This class will introduce the fundamental “building blocks” of accurate and safe shooting with an emphasis on the differences between “marksmanship” and “defensive shooting” (i.e., those that might be required to save your life in the event of a violent encounter).  After a classroom presentation, the students will proceed to the range and conduct range exercises/drills that illustrate the principles taught in the classroom. Range session will be conducted in a student / coach format and will be “instructor lead.” This class meets the training requirements for the USCCA Protector Academy Qualification

Required Equipment:
  • Pistol (semi-auto or revolver)
  • 100 rounds of range ammo
  • Two (2) magazines
  • Hearing and Eye Protection
