This 2-day USCCA instructor’s course will certify students to be instructors for the USCCA. This is a nationally recognized certification and is recognized by the Illinois State Police for Illinois CCW instructors.

Students are strongly encouraged to take the USCCA CCHDF course prior to the instructor course. (Click Here) to register for the CCHDF course.

Students must complete the USCCA online training. The online portion must be completed before the date of class. The USCCA sets minimum student levels to hold the class. You will be refunded if the class will need to be rescheduled due to enrollment.

Upon successful completion of the course, the USCCA will ship your toolkit and certification.
Students will be required to present the course slides during the instructor training. Students are encouraged to study the CCHDF book which will be handed out in the CCHDF course. Students should take notes on the materials and be prepared to present randomly assigned sections of the course to their fellow classmates.
There will be a shooting qualification that students must pass with 80% accuracy including distances out to 45 feet. USCCA targets and a copy of the qualification are available at CY Armory for students to come in and practice before the class date.
At Condition Yellow Academy we are committed to teaching all shooters, from novice to instructor level, to be the best they can be. While enrollment in this course does not guarantee certification, we are committed to working with every student and helping them reach their goals.
